Information for the Mary Eddy Jones Signature Gift

The Fred Jones Family Foundation created the Mary Eddy Jones Signature Gift in honor of the late Mary Eddy Jones to continue her legacy in the areas of interest to which she was so diligently dedicated.

Mary Eddy Jones consistently sought to improve the arts, culture, and beautification throughout central Oklahoma.

All requests for the Mary Eddy Jones Signature Gift must be submitted through the Fred Jones Family Foundation online application system.

Please do not mail requests directly. Only those requests received via the Web site will be considered for funding. Please be sure to read the Foundation’s Grant Guidelines, as well as Exclusions to check your eligibility before submitting an application.

Grant Guidelines:

Recipient organizations must be registered and have an official tax-exempt status letter under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This must be attached to the application.
To be eligible for the Mary Eddy Jones Signature Gift, an organization’s primary focus must be in the areas of:
- Arts
- Culture
- Landscaping Improvements
- Central Oklahoma

Application Process:

Read the Grant Guidelines above; determine whether your proposal meets the Guidelines.
Review and complete the online application.
Save this to a file on your computer. Do not try to save it within the site.
Compile a brief statement about your organization and how you would like the money to be used. Please keep this to a minimum of 150 words.
We may contact you at a later date if we have further questions.
Attach the application, along with a copy of your 501(c)(3) tax letter, a copy of your board of directors, and your statement, then e-mail the information to wsmith@fredjonesfamilyfoundation.com
You will receive a letter in the mail with our response shortly after the Foundation makes their choice. We request all correspondence via e-mail.

Exclusions:

The following do NOT qualify for the Mary Eddy Jones Signature Gift:

Projects not aligned with the Foundation’s specified program areas
General operating support for ongoing activities
Direct grants, scholarships, or loans for the benefit of specific individuals
Federated campaigns, general fund drives, special events, or sponsorships
Contributions to religious organizations
Athletic fields, playgrounds, or recreational facilities
